Maybe i'm already to late but about a month ago i was also developing/implementing a colorpicker to formhandler
It's kind of a advanced version of the Rick den Haan version.
It shows the selected color and the RGB colormix and saturation etc.
The post value is the HEX-decimal representation of the color.
Maybe it's a start for a advanced colorpicker next to the simple one :)
